Stomach cancer, also known as gastric cancer, develops when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably in the lining of the stomach. In its early stages, it may not cause noticeable symptoms. As the disease progresses, patients may experience persistent indigestion, stomach pain, loss of appetite, unexplained weight loss, nausea, or vomiting. Early diagnosis and timely treatment are essential for improving outcomes. Depending on the stage of the cancer, treatment may include minimally invasive or robotic surgery, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, or a combination of these approaches.
